Doris Corneau is a senior Law Clerk in both the firm's Wills and Estate Group and the Corporate Group, and has been with the firm since 1977.

As a member of the Wills and Estate Group her duties include working closely with the lawyers in drafting Wills and Powers of Attorney, as well as assisting Estate Trustees with all aspects of estate administration, such as applying for death and survivor benefits, obtaining court appointment for Estate Trustee, advertising for creditors, preparing documents for the liquidation and/or transfer of assets to beneficiaries. Doris maintains detailed records, prepares income tax returns, obtains releases from beneficiaries, obtains clearance certificates from CRA, and prepares accounts for passing in Court.

In the Corporate Group, Doris prepares articles of incorporation, amalgamation, continuance, revival, amendment and dissolution. She has experience in drafting by-laws, resolutions, and agreements, maintaining accurate corporate records, conducting corporate searches and reviewing corporate records for deficiencies. Doris also created and maintains the corporate records database in the Ottawa office.
