Adriana is an associate in the firm's Business Law Group in the Toronto office. Adriana practices in the area of business law with an emphasis on franchising and acts on an on-going basis for a number of franchisors and distributors across a broad range of industries. Her practice is focused on assisting domestic and international businesses with negotiated transactions including mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, as well as the preparation and negotiation of complex commercial agreements, franchise agreements and other corporate documents.  In addition to general corporate and commercial matters, she regularly advises clients on franchise and distribution matters, with an emphasis on regulatory and disclosure compliance. 
Adriana joined McMillan as a summer student in 2012 and completed her articles with the firm in 2014.

  • Skyway Canada/PERI, represented Skyway in acquisition of all the outstanding shares of PERI Scaffolding Services Inc. a subsidiary of PERI GmbH (2015) and representation of Skyway in refinancing
  • Enviroshake Inc., represented Enviroshake Inc. in sale of its assets to Canadian subsidiary of Headwaters Inc. (NYSE:HW) (2015)
