Auryn Resources Inc Secures $41M From Strategic Investor

On January 24, 2017 Auryn Resources Inc. completed a $41 million private placement with Goldcorp Inc representing a 12.5% investment in Auryn. The placement was coupled with an Investor Rights and Obligations Agreement whereby Goldcorp has a pre-emptive right to maintain its 12.5% interest and has agreed to a standstill voting support arrangements.
Auryn was assisted by a McMillan team comprised of Bernie Zinkhofer, Barb Collins, Ravi Bains, Linda Rocca and Paulette Smith.
