Caroline Healey wins Young Bar Association of Montreal's "in-house" Lawyer of the Year award

Caroline Healey, an associate in the Montreal office, has been awarded the 2011 "in-house - Lawyer of the Year" award from the Young Bar Association of Montreal for her former role as Legal Counsel for International Air Transport Association (IATA).

This is a significant achievement as this series of awards celebrates the professional and personal achievements of six young lawyers in Québec across 6 different categories. 

The jury was comprised of : the Honorable Pierre J. Dalphond from the Quebec court of Appeal, the Honorable Sophie Bourque from the Superior court of Québec, Doris Larrivée, Director General of the Bar of Montréal, Michèle Moreau, Director General for Pro Bono Québec and Nicolas Plourde, Vice President of the Québec Bar.

In her role as Legal Counsel for IATA, she was responsible for the Financial Services Division. Prior to this, she worked for an important aircraft manufacturer where she negotiated and supported high-value aerospace sourcing transactions.

Caroline is involved with the Young Chamber of Commerce of Montreal where she is Director of the Corporate & Legal Affairs Committee (2011-2012). She is also on the Board of non-profit and community organizations and was member of Montreal Bar Association Committee representing in-house lawyers from 2006 to 2009.
