A new study revealed that the Eastern Monarch population has decreased by 84 percent over a 19-year period, leaving it in a compromising position of quasi-extinction. Loney believes that through joint efforts from Canada, The United States and Mexico -stemming from the Three Amigos Summit - positive action in conservation, population stabilization and innovation means the Eastern Monarch's future looks bright.
