Karen Carteri recognized in Lexpert's Rising Stars: Leading Lawyers Under 40

McMillan is pleased to announce that Advocacy and Litigation partner Karen Carteri has been selected as one of the leading lawyers in Canada under the age of 40 in Lexpert's 2015 Rising Stars competition.

Karen accepted her award on November 19, 2015, at the gala and awards presentation held in Toronto. Karen will be featured, along with the full list of winners, in the November/December issue of Lexpert magazine.

Karen's practice focuses on shareholder, director and corporate control disputes and remedies, major commercial real estate and property development disputes, banking and financial services and security enforcement litigation. She is a Board Member and Director of Governance/Secretary for the Association of Women in Finance.

The Lexpert Rising Stars: Leading Lawyers Under 40 award recognizes lawyers from law firms and in-house counsel who are leading lawyers in the Canadian legal community. Finalists are nominated by their peers on criteria such as leadership, professional achievements, business acumen, adaptability, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
