Maneesha is an associate in the Business Law Group in McMillan’s Vancouver Office. Maneesha works with many clients on general corporate commercial matters, purchase and sale transactions, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance matters.

Maneesha was seconded as corporate counsel to Great Canadian Gaming Corporation, Canada’s largest publicly traded gaming, entertainment, and hospitality company, where she provided legal advice to the various business teams and acted as assistant corporate secretary. Maneesha is familiar with highly regulated industries and can guide businesses through regulatory landscapes with operational experience and strong corporate governance practices. In particular, Maneesha has extensive experience with gaming and liquor regulations, including licensing.

Having gained insight into the daily operational and legal challenges facing companies, coupled with her business background, Maneesha is able to leverage her experience into practical targeted solutions for clients. Maneesha works with clients at all stages of the business life cycle and is currently developing a practice with emerging and growth stage companies through Startups @McMillan.

Maneesha summered and articled with McMillan and joined the firm as an associate in 2017. She holds a law degree from Queen’s University and prior to law school Maneesha obtained a Bachelors of Commerce (Honours) from Queen’s University with a Graduate Diploma in Accounting.
