McMillan LLP is pleased to recognize four of its lawyers for taking on leadership roles in the Canadian Bar Association's National Competition Law Section (NCLS) in the upcoming year.

Reflecting our Competition/Antitrust Group's status as one of the elite practices in Canada, the following McMillan lawyers have been appointed to Chair these NCLS committees:

These appointments continue a longstanding firm tradition of service within the Canadian Bar Association, and the NCLS in particular. Most of the members of our Competition/Antitrust Group have previously served in the NCLS leadership, including former Chair of the Section, James Musgrove. We are also proud of our deep ties to the international antitrust community, stemming from our Competition/Antitrust Group's record of service in the leadership of the American Bar Association's Section of Antitrust Law, and the International Bar Association's Antitrust Committee.

For more than three decades, McMillan has been recognized nationally and internationally as a leader in competition law. Our cross-Canada team of lawyers in Toronto, Ottawa, Montréal, Vancouver and Calgary routinely assists clients in obtaining approval of industry-transforming transactions and in defending cartel, class action, and unilateral conduct matters before the competition authorities and the courts.
