On Thursday, May 16, 2013 students from the Grade 7 and 8 class at the First Nations School of Toronto visited McMillan and the Ontario Court of Appeal as part of the Canadian Lawyers Abroad Dare to Dream program.

McMillan hosted the students from 10:00am to 12:30pm as part of its involvement in the program. Students learned about a large law firm environment and how it operates, including the different departments within the firm, what services they provide and to whom, and the different roles within the firm, so that they could gain exposure to the variety of careers available and learn about paths they may aspire to in their futures.

"So many kids at this age don't know what they want to do…it's almost impossible for them to even think about [a career in law] unless you open their eyes to the possibility," said Jeffrey Rogers, a partner at McMillan who led his firm's participation in the program.
