Wendy Belisle is an associate with McMillan’s Commercial Real Estate Group in Montréal. She is developing a broad practice in all areas of commercial real estate, including the acquisition and disposition of all types of real property, condominium law and development, commercial leasing, financing and secured lending.

Wendy completed her articles with the Firm after obtaining a Bachelor of Civil Law and Juris Doctor from the University of Montréal.

During her legal studies, Wendy assisted two Professors from the University of Montréal, conducting legal research on the United Nation’s International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and prepared case summaries regarding the question of extraterritoriality and the Canadian Charter.  Wendy was a student representative on the Litigation Committee with the Canadian Association of Refugee Lawyers and she also worked with the management team at Oxfam-Québec on special projects.

Prior to her law degree, she received an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Middle Eastern studies and Anthropology from McGill University and studied Arabic at the Lebanese American University of Beirut. She also volunteered for the UNHCR, Action Réfugié Montréal, the Sauvé Foundation and the Vancouver winter Olympics.
