I am very excited to be returning to McMillan as an articling student. My summer experience at McMillan provided me with exposure to a variety of practice areas, including financial services, capital markets, real estate and business law. I look forward to building upon my prior experiences and broadening my knowledge.

I recently obtained my Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School. During my third year at Osgoode, I published a paper on the topic of gender diversity in the boardroom. Throughout law school, I became involved in various activities and volunteer opportunities. I also served on the executive team of student organizations, including the Osgoode Mooting Society and the Osgoode Society for Corporate Governance. The highlight of my second year was competing in the Davies’ Corporate/Securities Law Moot.

In the summer after my first year, I worked as a research assistant for Osgoode Professor Richard Haigh. Prior to law school, I gained 7+ years of experience in customer service and worked for the Toronto Police Service as a civilian. I graduated from York University with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society, and Psychology. During my undergrad, I received the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence in the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies.

Outside of work, I enjoy participating in obstacle courses, hiking, golfing, travelling and music.
