Farallon Mining Ltd. Acquired by Nyrstar NV for $400 million

On January 6, 2011, Nyrstar had acquired 462,400,996 common shares of Farallon Mining Ltd, which represented approximately 93.75% of the issued and outstanding Farallon Shares on a fully diluted basis and had been validly deposited and taken up under the offer by Nyrstar to acquire all of the Farallon share.

Payment for the deposited shares was made on 10 January 2011of approximately $400 million.
