On April 21, 2016, Great Panther Silver Limited (TSX: GPR, NYSE MKT: GPL) (Great Panther) launched a US$10 million at-the-market (ATM) offering of its common shares on the NYSE MKT stock exchange.

The ATM offering will be completed through an ATM offering agreement entered into between Great Panther and H.C. Wainwright & Co., LLC. of New York. The ATM offering is qualified by both a prospectus in Canada and by a registration statement filed with the SEC in the United States and demonstrates McMillan’s ability to provide coordinated Canadian and U.S. securities advice to clients in a complex, cross-border financing.

ATM offerings have recently become more popular with Canadian issuers due to the flexibility provided in completing sales through the market.

Great Panther was represented by a McMillan team that included Michael Taylor, Cory Kent, Barb Collins, Daniel Lau (securities), Herb Ono (U.S. securities), Marina Tran (due diligence) and Christine Man (tax). The team was supported by Linda Rocca and Joni Liew in Canada and Pamela Charles of Davis Wright Tremaine in Seattle on U.S. tax matters.

Counsel for Wainwright included Joe Smith and Rob Charron of Ellenoff Grossman & Schole in New York, and James Clare of Bennett Jones in Toronto.
