On May 9, 2024, Anaplan, a portfolio company of software investor Thoma Bravo, completed the acquisition of Fluence Technologies (“Fluence”).

Anaplan provides a market-leading platform for connected business planning that enables better decision-making by financial planning & analysis organizations across the globe. Fluence’s offering is a cloud-based, no-code financial close and consolidation platform for mid-market and large enterprises with rapid provisioning and features.

Working alongside Kirkland & Ellis LLP, McMillan acted as Canadian counsel to Anaplan on this cross-border transaction, advising on all transaction related matters.
