McMillan Advises BlueMatrix LLC on its Acquisition of Street Context

On January 17, 2025, funds advised by BlueMatrix Parent, LP (“BlueMatrix”), a portfolio company of Thoma Bravo, completed the acquisition of Quantify Labs Inc. d/b/a/ Street Context (“Street Context”).

BlueMatrix is the global leader in financial services research publishing and distribution. Street Context is a market leader in email intelligence and analytics. The acquisition will allow the two organizations to combine and build a next-generation information platform for financial institutions, providing financial data and consumption analytics.

Working alongside Kirkland & Ellis LLP, McMillan acted as Canadian counsel to Blue Matrix on this cross-border transaction, providing corporate support, leading the acquisition financing workstream, and liaising with subject matter specialists across the firm.
