On January 16, 2025, Great Canadian Gaming Corporate (“GCGC”) completed its previously announced definitive agreements to sell Casino Nanaimo and Elements Casino Victoria to Petroglyph Development Group Ltd. (“Petroglyph”), a wholly owned corporation of Snuneymuxw First Nation.

GCGC worked collaboratively with Petroglyph throughout and agreed to provide transition support post-closing, as Casino Nanaimo and Elements Casino Victoria were the first casino operations to be acquired by the First Nation. The acquisitions are recognized publicly as an important transformative step in the economic growth of the First Nation.
