On November 15, 2024, funds advised by SK Capital Partners, LP (“SK Capital”) completed the acquisition of Spectra Confectionery Limited. (“Spectra”).

SK Capital is a private investment firm focused on the ingredients, specialty materials, and life sciences sectors. Spectra is the largest manufacturer of premium decorative toppings and confectionary products in Canada.

Working alongside Kirkland & Ellis LLP, McMillan acted as Canadian counsel to SK Capital on this cross-border transaction, advising on all transaction related matters.
