On April 6, 2023, Thoma Bravo successfully completed the acquisition of all of the issued and outstanding subordinate voting shares and multiple voting shares of Magnet Forensics Inc. (“Magnet”) (TSX: MAGT) for $1.8 Billion, by way of a plan of arrangement.

Thoma Bravo is one of the largest software investors in the world. Through its private equity, growth equity and credit strategies, the firm invests in growth-oriented, innovative companies operating in the software and technology sectors.

Magnet Forensics is a developer of digital investigation software that acquires, analyses, reports on and manages evidence from digital sources, including computers, mobile devices, IoT devices and cloud services.
