McMillan represents Underwriters on Petrus Bought Deal Financing and Going-Public Transaction

McMillan acted on behalf of a syndicate of underwriters led by FirstEnergy Capital Corp. and GMP Securities L.P. and including Cormark Securities Inc., National Bank Financial Inc., Dundee Securities Ltd. and Macquarie Capital Markets Canada Ltd. in connection with a $30 million bought deal financing of Petrus Resources Ltd. (Petrus).

The financing was completed in connection with Petrus’ going-public transaction on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) by way of a plan of arrangement with PhosCan Chemical Corp.

The McMillan team was led by Will Van Horne and included Julia Loney, Kourtney Rylands and Jason Haley (capital markets), Christine Man and Peter Botz (tax), Mike Shannon, Herb Ono and Mike Taylor (US securities law) and Annik Forristal (environmental).
