Thoma Bravo acquires technology-focused parking management systems provider T2 Systems

On September 29, 2016, Thoma Bravo, LLC, a leading private equity investment firm, acquired T2 Systems, Inc., one of North America’s largest providers of parking management technology, from Pamlico Capital. Over a thousand customers such as universities, municipalities and private operators rely on T2 for pay stations, permit management, enforcement, vehicle counting and citation services.

McMillan was Canadian counsel to Thoma Bravo on the acquisition and financing, with a team led by Michael Whitcombe and Sandra Sbrocchi (corporate) and included Todd Miller (tax), Michael Hanlon and Emile Catimel-Marchand (financial services), Paul Boshyk (employment), Lyndsay Wasser and Jeffrey Nagashima (pension/benefits/privacy), Peter Giddens and Joanna Vatavu (intellectual property), Max Jarvie (IT), Ryan Gallagher (regulatory), Damon Chisholm and Scott Kuehn (real estate) and Jennifer Hill (corporate).
