Voith GmbH sells Voith industrial services division to private equity firm Triton

On August 31, 2016, Voith GmbH, a leading provider of value-added technical services for the industrial sector, headquartered in Germany, completed the sale of its Voith Industrial Services division to the private equity firm, Triton.

McMillan was retained to assist Voith’s German counsel, CMS, with the Canadian elements of the transaction. The McMillan team was led by Bruce Chapple (corporate) and included Hilary Hennick, Caroline Samara (corporate), Carl Irvine (tax), Lyndsay Wasser and Stefanie Di Francesco (labour and employment), with assistance from Catherine Norris and Mary Chatziadamos.
