She is eager to gain invaluable legal experience working amongst industry-leading experts at the firm. Having recently completed her second year at Windsor Law, Jia volunteered as a Legal Clinician at the Legal Assistance of Windsor, where she assisted clients and lawyers in housing matters. Additionally, she has been involved in several moots, including the Walker Health Law Moot, and assumed the role of Co-Chair of Windsor Law’s Mooting Committee. Additionally, she served as 2L Representative for the Asian Law Students’ Association and is anticipating her upcoming role as a Windsor Law Student Representative for the Ontario Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers (FACL) in the forthcoming academic year. Prior to law school, Jia obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of British Columbia. While obtaining her degree, she founded a tutoring services company specializing in academic development and post-secondary counselling for International Baccalaureate students. Concurrently, she held a position conducting policy research as a Research Liaison for a Constituency Office in Metro Vancouver.
