Capital Markets Lawyer Michael Kennedy Joins McMillan’s Vancouver Office

We are pleased to announce that Michael (Mike) Kennedy will be joining the firm’s Capital Markets Group, effective June 10, 2015.

Mike joins as Senior Counsel and will be working out of the Vancouver office.

Mike comes from a boutique law firm based in Vancouver where he was a lawyer and partner for close to 30 years. He brings a wealth of experience representing issuers and underwriters operating in a wide range of sectors, including energy, mining, biotechnology, technology and industrial issuers.

Specializing in securities and corporate law, Mike has assisted public companies, principally listed on the TSX Venture Exchange and Toronto Stock Exchange, with initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, public and private equity debt financing, and governance matters.

Mike was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 1986 and he received a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Victoria in 1984.
