Financial Services Lawyer Janie Tremblay Joins McMillan’s Calgary Office

We are pleased to announce that Janie Tremblay will be joining the firm’s Financial Services Group, effective July 12, 2016.

Janie joins as counsel and will be working in our Calgary office.

Janie has worked for more than 15 years in banking law and has extensive experience in domestic and international lending, acting for lenders and borrowers. She has held several senior solicitor positions in Canada, Europe and South America. Janie has developed wide-ranging expertise, covering corporate and more structured credits, acquisition financing, including private equity-backed, cross-border and international secured lending, and negotiation and project execution strategies, as well as a special affinity for cross-cultural interactions. Earlier on in her career, prior to focusing on banking law, Janie had established a solid transactional foundation in corporate commercial and M&A work.
