Margaret McNee discusses the art collection at McMillan
Margaret McNee, a partner in the Toronto office of McMillan, was featured in an article titled Law firms use modern art to project hip vibe in the November 4, 2011 edition of The Lawyers Weekly. In the article she discusses the art that is used throughout the firm.
“We have looked at art as art and wanted to have something that was stimulating and conversation-provoking,” said McNee, co-chair of the board of the Canadian Art Foundation and the treasurer of the board of the Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery. “In fact, we have had a lot of very positive responses to some of the artworks in our collection. “This waterfall … we have had several different people ask us, ‘Who is that artist? Do you think I could get one of those works?’
