McMillan Lawyers Geoffrey Kubrick and Neil Campbell Appointed to NAFTA Chapter 19 (Trade Remedies)
We are pleased to announce that two McMillan LLP lawyers, Geoffrey Kubrick and Neil Campbell, have been appointed to the NAFTA Chapter 19 (Trade Remedies) roster of panelists for terms of 10 years starting Feb.6, 2018. Dispute resolution panels under Chapter 19 of NAFTA provide an alternative to judicial review in domestic courts in respect of the decisions of the authorities that administer the anti-dumping and anti-subsidy laws in the NAFTA countries. Panelists are appointed on a case-by-case basis when a proceeding is initiated under Chapter 19.
