McMillan Welcomes – Rish Handa

We are pleased to announce that Rish Handa has joined the Firm’s Business Law Group in our Montréal office as counsel, effective March 25, 2019.

Rish completed a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) at University of British Columbia, as well as a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at McGill University. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2006 and to the Québec bar in 2011.

Prior to McMillan, Rish ran an independent business, technology and intellectual property practice, focused on corporate/commercial, technology, transactions, corporate financing and licensing deals.

Rish has represented clients at all stages, from start-ups and emerging companies to established corporations, and advised clients on intellectual property licensing arrangements, commercialization and funding arrangements and privacy matters.
