Pride Month 2023: Strength in Solidarity
During the month of June, McMillan joins people across the globe in observing Pride month, commemorating the 1969 Stonewall uprising in New York. Embracing this year’s theme “Strength in Solidarity”, is both a celebration of the strides that the 2SLGBTQI+ community has made and a protest for continued progress on rights for all people to be accepted, free from harm, and treated equally.
Pride month is an opportunity for individuals and organizations to re-commit to pride or allyship with the 2SLGBTQI+ community. At McMillan, we believe that support of Pride and similar initiatives is essential to our mission of cultivating a truly inclusive and diverse workplace.
We present events and training on inclusion and allyship in the workforce and take concrete steps to support our 2SLGBTQI+firm members. Though tremendous progress has been made, together, we aim to be festive and fierce in support of the 2SLGBTQI+ community.
