Laurene Oliveira

Laurene Oliveira is an articling student at McMillan.

During her studies in Brazil, Laurene worked as a law student at a renowned international law firm, where she gained exposure to a variety of corporate and M&A matters. She practised law for two years in Brazil and has experience working in general corporate transactions, dispute resolution and employment related matters. Prior to joining McMillan, Laurene worked at a leading Canadian fintech as a legal analyst and human resources specialist.

Laurene holds an LLB from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) and an LLM from Osgoode Hall Law School. She worked at McMillan as a summer student prior to returning to the firm as an articling student.
