Patricia Chehadé is building a legal practice in capital markets and securities, with a focus on startups and emerging companies. She assists Canadian and international clients in a range of corporate and securities law matters, including contested transactions, corporate governance, asset purchase agreements, and mergers and acquisitions.
As part of her securities and corporate finance practice, Patricia advises private and public clients on a variety of matters including private placements, stock exchange listings, initial public offerings, reverse takeovers, corporate governance and ongoing public company compliance. Responsive to the needs of her clients, Patricia has published on the current trends in environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG).
Prior to joining McMillan, Patricia worked with global and local law firms. She holds a JD and an L.LL from the University of Ottawa, graduating with distinction.
