As McMillan’s National Recruitment Manager, Alison Peters administers the firm’s processes for the recruitment of legal support professionals, including legal assistants, paralegals and law clerks, as well as non-legal firm members at all levels of reporting.

She monitors procedures on an ongoing basis, updating them regularly to ensure maximum efficiencies in attracting the best talent. A critical priority for Alison is that candidates view the firm’s application process as a positive experience, regardless of the final hiring decision.

In 2014, one year after joining the firm’s Human Resources Department in a coordinator role, Alison advanced to the position of National Recruitment Specialist. She was promoted again in 2019 to National Recruitment Manager.

Alison’s previous experience includes just under 10 years with a major international hotel chain in a variety of front-line and management roles. She travelled extensively to Australia, Japan, United States and the Caribbean, setting up operations in various and diverse environments.
