Anica is delighted to join the team at McMillan this summer as a summer articled student and is grateful to learn from a team of highly skilled and knowledgeable individuals this summer.

She recently completed her second year of the JD program at the Peter A. Allard School of Law (Allard) at the University of British Columbia (UBC). During the past two years at Allard, she was involved with the Law Students’ Society Wellness Committee, Pro Bono Students Canada (PBSC), Social Welfare Law and Policy Society (Vice President – Internal) and Amici Curiae Friends of Court. Recently, she acted as a student clinician at Allard’s Business Law Clinic, engaging with clients and delivering legal services to small businesses.

Outside of the legal field, she has extensive experience in both research and health care. She worked as an Occupational Therapist in both public health and private practice settings. She also actively contributed to journal articles and presentations on rehabilitation and health sciences. In the last two years, she has conducted research alongside professors in the Sauder School of Business at UBC and she will be returning to her role as a Graduate Academic Assistant for her third year.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, binge-watching tv shows, and going to random art and exercise classes around Vancouver.
