Candice Hévin is developing a broad business law practice with a secondary focus on privacy and data protection. She assists startups and emerging companies as well as established businesses in a range of industries, including manufacturing, and food, beverage and agribusiness.
In addition to assisting on general corporate and commercial matters, Candice performs due diligence and manages closing deliveries on mergers and acquisitions and private equity files. She also performs risk assessments and drafts and reviews contracts.
Candice’s work in privacy and data protection includes drafting and reviewing privacy policies and advising on privacy laws.
Prior to joining McMillan, Candice worked in France for several years, including as counsel in the legal department of a consulting firm, where she participated in the drafting and negotiation of contracts, litigation management and regulatory matters, in particular with respect to privacy and data protection.
