Chris Kalantzis photo

Chris is a skilled advocate with extensive experience conducting dozens of complex trials before judges and juries, appeals, judicial reviews and applications before courts and administrative tribunals. He has appeared before all courts in Ontario and Alberta, and in writing before the Supreme Court of Canada.

Prior to joining the firm, Chris was a federal prosecutor at the Public Prosecution Service of Canada and an Assistant Crown Attorney at the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General, where he prosecuted all manner of criminal and regulatory offences, including working with the Canada Border Services Agency on matters involving illegal imports.

Chris assists clients in a wide variety of industries with international trade law matters. Chris also assists clients with other administrative and public law matters as well as white collar defence.

Chris has particular expertise in matters involving criminal and constitutional law as well as with search warrants and sealing orders. He also relies on his extensive trial experience to assist clients with complex evidentiary issues such as electronic evidence as well as civilian and expert witnesses.
