Claire La Mantia is excited to return to McMillan as an articling student.

During her legal studies, Claire served as a volunteer mentor through the Osgoode Women’s Network Mentorship Program, a clinic fellow at the Osgoode Innovation Clinic, and a peer counselor with the Career Development Office Peer Counselling Program.

Claire represented Osgoode Hall as a member of the first Canadian team to win the Midwest regional round of the US Patent and Trademark Office National Patent Drafting Competition and placed third at the 2022 national final. She has experience working at her family’s independent grocery business prior to working as a summer student at McMillan.

Claire completed her JD at Osgoode Hall Law School and received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science from the University of Toronto.  She worked at McMillan as a summer student prior to returning to the firm as an articling student.
