Courtney Aucoin is a summer student at McMillan and recently completed her 3rd year of the 4-year combined Juris Doctor (French) and Master of Arts in International Affairs program offered jointly by the University of Ottawa and Carleton University.

During her studies, Courtney was the Vice President of Athletic Affairs with the Common Law Student Society at the Faculty of Law. She also served on the Editorial Board for the Paterson Review of International Affairs as the Editor-in-Chief and as an Assistant Editor at the Ottawa Law Review. Additionally, Courtney was President of the International Law Students Association for two terms.

Before joining McMillan, Courtney worked for Public Services and Procurement Canada as a Policy Analyst at the Coordination Office for Dispute Resolution Inquiries. Courtney brings seven years of experience in municipal government and as an academic tutor in various subjects. She has private-sector experience in human resources. Courtney graduated from Brock University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (Co-op option) in 2019.
