I am excited to return to McMillan as an articling student after my summer with the firm. I am eager to continue developing the legal skills necessary to be a valuable contributor to the firm. I also look forward to reconnecting with my McMillan colleagues.
I recently graduated with a Juris Doctorate from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. While at Allard, I was involved in various extracurricular activities including the Willem C. Vis International moot team. Prior to law school, I completed my Bachelor of Arts (honours) degree at Queen’s University. During my time at Queen’s, I volunteered with organizations such as the Queen’s Housing Resource Centre and TEDxQueensU. Outside of work, I run a non-profit organization that teaches personal finance skills to B.C. high school students.
I try to spend most of my spare time outside, whether it be on the golf course or in the mountains. I am also keener for any kind of recreational sport and hope to join the McMillan softball team next summer.
