I am excited to join the McMillan Vancouver team as a temporary articled student this summer.

I recently completed my second year of law school in the Dual JD program at the University of Windsor and University of Detroit Mercy. This past academic year, I completed a judicial externship for the Honourable Judge Terrence G. Berg at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan where I assisted with researching and drafting bench memorandum and judicial opinions. Additionally, as a member of the Detroit Mercy Moot Court team, I coached senior team members as they prepared for internal and external competitions. As a junior member, I also completed an internal moot competition. Lastly, as the teaching assistant for first-year Dual JD legal research and writing at Detroit Mercy, I assisted students with Canadian and US legal research, provided writing feedback on both Canadian and US legal writing assignments, and held oral argument coaching sessions as students prepared for both Canadian and US moot competitions.

Prior to attending law school, I obtained my Bachelor of Commerce with a marketing major from the University of Alberta. Upon graduating, I spent the next 10 years working in advertising and strategic brand management for a variety of advertising agencies and post-secondary institutions. During that time, I obtained my designation as a Communications and Advertising Accredited Professional from the Institute of Communications Agencies. I also recently graduated with a Master of Business Administration from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary.

In my spare time, you’ll find me powerlifting, going for runs along the Detroit River, binge watching the latest true-crime documentary, or spending time with friends.
