David Burchart was a summer student at McMillan and is returning as an articling student.

David recently graduated from the Juris Doctor program at the University of Victoria (UVic) Faculty of Law. David volunteered as a student clinician at The Law Centre: a service of the UVic Faculty of Law that offers free legal assistance, advice and representation to persons who cannot afford a lawyer. This role included a broad range of legal practice areas including human rights, employment, and administrative law.

Prior to law school, David obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Kwantlen Polytechnic University, graduating with distinction. During his undergraduate studies he worked as a customer service associate.
