Emily Dishart’s practice focuses on complex commercial disputes, with a special interest in public law issues, aboriginal and regulatory law. With strong experience in navigating intricate legal challenges, she plays crucial roles in both trial proceedings and appellate matters.

Emily works with clients throughout all stages of litigation. From conducting examinations for discovery and representing clients in court, to attending mediations and drafting appellate factums, she brings tenacity and creativity to every case she undertakes.

During law school, Emily served as Editor for the Canadian Journal of Comparative and Contemporary Law, contributing to the 2022 journal published by Thompson Rivers University.

Before joining McMillan, Emily gained valuable experience at a boutique litigation firm in Vancouver and during her articles at the British Columbia Lottery Corporation.
