Fang Chen

Fang Chen is an experienced lawyer, qualified to practise in both China and Canada (B.C.). With significant cross-border experience in investments and dispute resolution, Fang assists clients looking to invest or do business in Canada, as well as those seeking market entry into China. She routinely assists Chinese clients in navigating the differences relating to legal systems and cultural norms.

As a practising lawyer as well as a strategic advisor in the firm’s China practice, Fang draws on more than 20 year’s experience in Chinese law in the areas of international litigation and arbitration. Fang also acted as a consultant for Chinese clients seeking legal services in Canada.

Fang is fluent in English, Mandarin and the South Fujian dialect (Taiwanese). With a background in both civil law and common law, and professional experience in Canada and China, Fang brings an understanding of two legal systems, and the ability to work in three languages.
