Having completed the National Committee on Accreditation requirements and an honours LLM degree at Osgoode Hall Law School, I am thrilled to be consecutively summering and articling at McMillan.

During my LLM, I worked as a legal researcher at Robert Walters plc. My job entailed researching trends in the Toronto legal market, and preparing lawyers for lateral and in-house moves.

Prior to my LLM, I obtained an honours LLB from the University of Birmingham, U.K. During my time at law school, I volunteered with a pro bono legal clinic, Citizens Advice Birmingham. I also volunteered with Canadian Multicultural Education Foundation, at a distance and during visits back to Canada. I particularly enjoyed assisting with their annual Harmony Brunch, which commemorates the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

Before law school, I obtained a BA in criminology at the University of Alberta. While there, I received the Jason Lang Scholarship, the 2015 Student Spotlight, and I am excited to be featured as a 2020 Alumni Student Spotlight. In addition to my studies, I was actively involved in the community through various extracurricular and volunteer activities. I co-ordinated the Right to Housing Conference to address Edmonton’s housing crisis, and co-ordinated an event called Tocho Morocho to assist marginalized seniors with community integration.

Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, volunteering and travelling. I am also keen on maintaining an active lifestyle through yoga, exercise and biking.
