Having completed my second year at Dalhousie’s Schulich School of Law, I am looking forward to moving to Toronto and joining the team at McMillan as a summer student.
At the Faculty of Law, I have greatly enjoyed participating in and contributing to an incredibly dynamic community while exploring my interest areas. I am currently the Vice-President, Finance, of the Public Policy and Law Society. In this role, I have had the opportunity to help plan a variety of events that have seen public policy leaders, including a number of federal and provincial cabinet ministers, speak about the intersection of law and public policy, from topics ranging from vaccine procurement to the need for innovation in law in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
I spent the past summer working at a Chamber of Commerce on the policy team, where I was able to lead in the development of a post-COVID recovery policy catalogue that focused on supporting the community, businesses, and individuals. Prior to law school, I worked for the federal government in a variety of roles, both bureaucratic and political. I attained an Honours Bachelor of Social Sciences with great distinction in international development and globalization from the University of Ottawa.
My favourite activities in my free time include checking out new restaurants and cafes, being outdoors (I love camping and hiking!), and catching up on my favourite podcasts.
