Ilana Schrager

As Director, Professional Resources, Ilana Schrager directs all aspects of the student and associate programs for McMillan’s Vancouver and Calgary offices, including recruitment, development, performance management and mentorship. An active member of the firm’s Inclusion and Diversity Committee from 2015 to 2019, Ilana has spearheaded a number of inclusion and diversity initiatives.

Prior to joining McMillan, Ilana practised litigation in the Toronto office of a global, full-service law firm, where she was highly involved in the student and mentorship programs. With experience as a practising lawyer, Ilana brings deep insight on strategies that ensure productive and supportive environments for students and associates.

Ilana holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2010 and the British Columbia bar in 2016.
