Ingrid Anton

Ingrid Anton is an experienced corporate commercial lawyer, maintaining a successful business law practice focused on merger and acquisition transactions, financing transactions (debt and equity), and the negotiation of complex commercial contracts.

Ingrid possesses solid experience advising private equity and other clients on international sale and acquisition transactions, and advising both lenders and borrowers on complex financing transactions. Prior to joining McMillan, Ingrid worked as in-house legal counsel at a major institutional commercial real estate debt firm, advising the firm on commercial contractual matters and advising its real estate lending transactional teams in all aspects surrounding the life of loans in Canada and in the United States. Her previous in-house experience also includes a major player in the pulp and paper industry, where she advised on all aspects of commercial operations, including major construction projects, real estate matters, and procurement and corporate services contracts.

Over the course of her career, Ingrid worked at several nationally and internationally recognized law firms in Toronto and Montréal, most recently as a partner in the business law department of an international firm in Montréal.
