In her role as Senior Director, Jennifer provides the Executive Committee with high level strategic analysis and support on strategic initiatives and projects at McMillan LLP. Working with management her role is to develop lateral partner recruitment strategy and manage the lateral recruitment process for counsel and partners.
Jennifer has been a finance professional for over 20 years, specializing in the legal industry for the past 10 years. With a background in restructuring, valuation and forensic accounting she brings a unique perspective to her role. Jennifer started her career with KPMG LLP, originally in audit and then in Toronto where she was involved in a number of high profile restructuring engagements, complex business negotiations and due diligence engagements. She subsequently held senior finance positions in industry where she was responsible for all areas of the executive management, reporting directly to the Chair, COO and Board. Jennifer has supported organizations to focus on aligning the strategic goals with their approach to recruitment, measurement of financial performance and compensation. Her relatively unique combination of financial and operational experience, together with her emphasis on teamwork, analytic rigor and process improvement, provides valuable support to the firm’s Executive team.
