As Director, Professional Resources, Judith Macfarlane oversees lawyer programs for the Vancouver and Calgary offices including recruitment and retention, training and development, professional growth and well-being, performance assessment and advancement, and continuing legal education requirements. Judith is committed to ensuring a professional and supportive environment for the students and lawyers at the firm.

Before joining McMillan LLP, Judith was a partner practising in the labour and employment law group of another major law firm in Vancouver. Called to the B.C. bar in 1996, Judith holds an LLB from Dalhousie University and an LLM from the University of Ottawa. She is currently a non-practising member of the Law Society of British Columbia. Judith brings with her significant experience in a wide range of workplace issues gained through her years of practice as a labour and employment lawyer.
