Karel Peters is a summer student at McMillan.
During legal studies, Karel serves as the 2L Representative on Student Caucus, a JD Student Representative on Osgoode’s Faculty Council, and Representative for OUTLaws. Karel also sits on the Board of Directors for LGBT YouthLine, a non-profit organization offering confidential and non-judgemental peer support to 2SLGBTQ+ youth across Ontario.
Prior to law school, Karel worked for a Member of Parliament and played an active role on both federal and provincial political campaigns in Toronto and the Waterloo Region.
Karel is currently a JD student at Osgoode Hall Law School and holds an honours bachelor of arts in Canadian studies and equity studies from the University of Toronto, graduating with distinction.
