Karine Presseault

Karine Presseault is a paralegal in the Commercial Real Estate Group.

Karine has extensive experience in acquisition and financing files as well as real estate development projects. She performs searches at the Land Register of Québec, the Public Register of Real and Immovable Mining Rights of Québec and the Register of the Domain of the State. She also verifies information with public and municipal authorities on matters such as protected agricultural territory, property evaluation and municipal zoning bylaws. In addition, Karine helps notaries and lawyers with due diligence searches, carries out off-title searches and drafts related reports.

Assisting in real estate title examinations and in drafting related reports, Karine also prepares documents for registration in the Land Register of Québec, and assists in acquiring and reviewing title insurance policies.

Karine has 20 years of experience in real estate law. Before joining McMillan, she worked for a title insurance company and held positions with other major law firms.
