Kelsey Millward is a financial services lawyer with broad experience advising on national and cross-border transactions. She represents a wide range of borrowers and lenders in matters relating to general corporate finance, asset-based lending, real estate financing, project financing, acquisition financing, and secured transactions.
As a part of her financial services practice, Kelsey is routinely involved with drafting and negotiating loan agreements, security documents, guarantees, corporate documents, intercreditor agreements, legal opinions and a variety of other financing documents.
During her legal studies, Kelsey volunteered with the International Refugee Assistance Project, and worked as research assistant at an immigration law firm focusing on refugee and humanitarian applications. She also volunteered at the Legal Information Clinic at McGill, where she represented students in disciplinary disputes with the University. Kelsey further acted as the legal information officer at a Montréal-based English-language non-profit, offering legal information and workshops on various startup related issues to entrepreneurs. She also completed a clerkship under a judge at the Mental Health Review Board of the Tribunal administratif du Québec.
